Project Manager required to lead a small team of professional staff, managing their delivery and performance and to ensure that the project meet all governance and business requirements.

The role also involves but is not limited to the following:

Oversees the implementation of the appropriate Project Management processes and checks that they are operating accurately and effectively

Complete management information as required including report status against own and team's workload

Manage, coach and mentor more junior or less experienced staff, ensure that they understand the work and tasks ensuring that their work is reviewed and approved.

Extensive, expert level understanding of a range of Project Management tools techniques and practices.

Comprehensive knowledge of the Project Management capability landscape including with Professional institutions.

Good understanding of the Business environment for project.

Comprehensive knowledge and experience of Project Management governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and as Assessor at LCM Reviews.

Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve business success.

Ability to capture, evaluate and share best practice.

Conduct product evaluation and selection of most viable solution that meets the business need.

Accountable as a member of the Project Management team for development and implementation of appropriately tailored practices.

Accountable for ensuring Project Management practices in project meet the requirements of Operational Framework.

Responsible for members of the team, monitoring their quality of work and contributing to pay decisions

Guides others in application of Project Management techniques.

The succesful candidate will:

Lead a small team of professional staff, managing their delivery and performance

Conduct product evaluation and selection of most viable solution that meets the customer

Apply problem solving techniques to situations of moderate complexity in the field of Project Management, taking requirements and data from internal (capability) sources and external (customer, competitor and academic) area.

Gathers and analyses information

Supports development of solutions

Devises implementation approaches.

Ensure that the project meets all governance and business requirements

Oversees the implementation of the appropriate Project Management processes and checks that they are operating accurately and effectively
