Project Manager required to work for within transportation for the Clean Air Programme.
Contract position through to End of September 2020 based in Manchester City Centre.
Develop and manage project in line with Project and Programme management
procedures including owning the risk register, schedule, cost plan and other project
documentation required for Gateway submission and approvals.
Work with CAP Programme Team and Lead Advisor to develop the fundamental
business propositions in line with FBC requirements.
Work with other key internal and external stakeholders to develop the project in readiness
for consultation and FBC submission.
Prepare and input into various reports, both internal and external as necessary.
Attend various meetings, including Boards and Steering Groups as necessary, to report on
General project management skills are essential, understanding the requirements associated with
the overarching development of projects from inception through to delivery (subject to formal
approvals) including procurement.
Understand the requirements of full business cases and have excellent stakeholder relationship skills.
Experience of working within a political environment.
