Owning Manchester, Stansted and East Midlands Airports, as well as a large Hospitality business in the U.S. With customer service and hospitality at the core, the business offers a growing number of ancillary services including: catered premium lounges, bars, fast track services and valet car parking etc. all ensuring the delivery of a first-class passenger experience.

We are currently looking for a general Project Manager to manage a major Lounge Project at Manchester Airport.

The Role

You will be applying your project management skills to deliver a major project at Manchester Airport.

Essentially, you will be accountable for project delivery a 500sqm bespoke standalone Private Terminal, PremiAir at Manchester to include but not defined to HSE, Cost, Schedule and Quality.

Working to tight schedules, you will be leading in the region of 8 workstreams and Subject Matter Experts on each project, with multiple dependencies and restrictions, in a matrix fashion.

Typical duties will include:

Overseeing the completion of the overall programme with Microsoft Project Management

Tie together and lead the understanding and resolution of the inter-dependencies and monitor progress

Manage day-to-day co-ordination of the project

Define and plan the project and excel in a range of industry standard project management tools and techniques.

Management of the programme accordance with the success criteria

Establish and maintain a high performance culture.

Deliver the programme within budget


Whilst an established business, the Hospitality operations business is currently growing rapidly due to the expansion the Manchester operation. This in turn requires you to be proactive and innovative in your approach.

It is essential that you have the following experience:

Team leadership, delivery through others, influencing without direct control

Experience of putting framework in place

Project development from explore through to handover

Greenfield and brownfield project delivery in mature assets

The use of Gantt charts and RAID logs
