Our client is urgently looking for a Project Manager for a Full-Time Fixed Term role for approx 2 years based in Elgin.

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop and progress in construction project management. You will be embedded within an enthusiastic, driven and dedicated project team working full time on this project for roughly 2 years.

As the demand for our expertise continues to grow, we now have an opportunity for a Project Manager. You will join our significantly (Over 30 Project Managers in 11 UK locations) experienced and talented Project Management Team. This project is based permanently near Elgin (Scotland) for a fixed duration and is due to complete in May 2020 with the potential for future opportunities.
Assisting with the day to day delivery of projects
Undertake contact administration - NEC3
Maintain project documentation, programmes, risk register etc
Maintain a robust document management system
To Assist in and produce reports to suit relevant stages of the projects - site visits, weekly and formal monthly reports
Monitor and report on the contractors progress against the contract programme
Assist in the management of the contractor to ensure the contractor's design is done in compliance with the contract and specification
Assist in the management of the contractor to ensure that the built product is compliant with the contract
Identify, record and manage defects
Ensure that all CDM regulations have been followed throughout the delivery of project
Skills & Experience Required
3 years construction industry experience
BSc/MSc in related or non-related subjects
High quality oral and written communications (reports, instructions etc)
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
Security Clearance will be required once selected. Applicant must be a UK Passport holder.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator who can articulate complicated issues between our clients and our highly skilled project teams. You will also need to show ambition and a willingness to learn whilst demonstrating commercial awareness and exhibiting the ability to get the job done!
