My client is looking for an enthusiastic Project Management Assistant/Junior Project Manager for an initial period of 6 months.

What you will do:

Coordinate and minute project meetings,

Track and drive actions from project meetings with all members of the project team,

Record lessons learnt for the Project using the company's lessons learnt procedure as appropriate,

Assist the Project Team in risk management using ARM as delegated by the Project Manager,

Coordinate the delivery of project GRIP products and deliverables as per the project programme,

Input to and prepare project management documentation, including Project Management Plans, Stakeholder Management Plans, and Diversity Impact Assessments,

Preparation of CDM and CSM documentation for review by the Project Manager,

Use of DOORS to track and manage project requirements where applicable,

Recognise and promote positive safety behaviours and take responsibility to ensure that any further actions are raised and followed through,

Work with colleagues, customers and teams to communicate risks within my area and ensure that any learning is made known to the wider team and

Ensure Safety Conversations are undertaken and formally recorded.

Your experience will include:

Key Skills:

  • Network Rail experience

Enthusiastic

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Microsoft Office and excel

  • Be able to communicate on all levels

  • Work as part of a project team, assisting the Project Manager to deliver projects to time, cost and quality through development phases in a safe and environmentally responsible manner,

  • Monitor and report programme and progress in accordance with project reporting systems and guidelines

  • Develop and integrate effective support systems to enable the Project Manager to manage and control change
