Our client a leading Oil & Gas Operator are seeking a Project Engineer for an on-going contract role based in Aberdeen.

Position Overview
The Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring project Appraise and Select work aligns with the governance assurance stage gate expectations of the Engineering Function. Also, to ensure adherence to the Authorisation for Alteration (AFA) process thus ensuring that fit-for-purpose Project Solutions are developed within the Assets. The project engineer is responsible for managing specific multidiscipline scopes of work through front end engineering, detailed design, construction, commissioning and closeout.

* Ensure Assets are aligned to the Functional Engineering processes AFA's, Repair Orders, Technical Queries, Drawing Amendment Requests, Close Out and As Building, etc
* Delivery of multidiscipline scopes of work allocated to the project engineer at each project stage

Key Duties
* Support reporting and performance management processes at a Project level
* Ensure Asset proven risks are managed
* Project action Tracking
* Interface and Relationship management between Assets, Function and engineering/construction contractors
* Interface point between engineering/construction contractors, function and asset team
* Coordinate, document and communicate lessons learned at completion of assigned projects
* Ensure use of Project Management tools for assigned projects:
o Project Execution Plan
o Estimation
o Risk Management and Mitigation Procedures
o Management of Change Process
o Technical Query Process
o Lessons Learnt Process
* Consistent adherence and application of the Project Management and Management of Change Processes across all Assets
* Identify and implement improvements across the business
* Ensure offshore team are fully involved within Project planning and preparation and sufficiently informed to oversee safe and efficient offshore execution

Education Attainment & Accreditation
* Engineering Qualification (HNC or Above)
* Project experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
