Our client is potentially looking for up to 3 Project Controls Managers for Permanent opportunties in the South of France.

Candidates must have current Secuity Clearance.

Additional Staff benefits are included and can be discussed.

The objective of Project Controls Management is the oversight and integration of all Project Control Areas (Schedule, Cost, Scope, and Risk).

The PCM should have a clear understanding of the status of all work execution dimensions (cost, scope, and schedule).
The PCM confirms the available project controls information suite is fit for purpose for project management, leads the timely development of improvement plans where this is not the case, prepares variance and status reports for the CAM, answers ad hoc questions on project execution, and performs what-if scenarios to offer options to resolve issues or avoid risks. Through actions and behaviour, the PCMs present a model for others to engender a project delivery culture with actions taken in the overall project interest (balancing IO and DA costs/benefits).


The required PCM Services are:

Review the project control elements for adequacy of execution against procedures and working instructions.
Underpinning the Service Management Plan (SMP) agreed KPI improvement level target, develop an improvement plan for approval, with specific actions and dates, and monitor its execution. Agree where changing work priorities through the year demand improvement plan rescheduling, and amend the SMP as needed.
Manage the creation of BCPs by the deployed team to implement improvements to Baseline, or implement Project Change Requests Coordinates the BCP production with ROs, DAs and team members and authors for change of Scope, BoE, Estimates, and
Analyse the status of project execution against the Baseline, identifying reasons for deviations against planned performance.
Propose variance response actions to the CAMs.
Produce reports to summarise variance causes, and progress against agreed response actions.
Perform forecasting and assess forecasting information provided by others (completion dates and costs), thereby identifying probable future delays or cost over-runs.
Identifies opportunities for cost or schedule gains

Required experience and competencies

The Service must be supplied by:

1)Experienced project control managers with evidential expertise in working within highly technical and regulated projects (within construction phases from design through to commissioning)
