P6 Project Controller required to support the Project Management Team by providing an effective specialised Project Control service for their projects.
The role involves but is not limited to the following:
Assist in the maintenance of Project Controls structures for assigned project areas whilst developing and maintaining schedules, forecasts and budgets.
Maintain the established structure for sub-contract management ensuring points of contact are established, reporting requirements understood and milestones are identified and linked in the schedule.
Ensure data integrity of all project information including financials and schedule. Maintain, develop & communicate the integrated bid / project plan in the Primavera and Oracle tools, including all contract deliverables and milestones, internal milestones, invoicing and sales milestones in accordance with company Procedures.
Ensure reliable & timely capture of project actuals using company reporting processes for time and cost, produce financial data (VAR/Trends/Analysis/EV) for the full project hierarchy and report at regular Project reviews.
Support the PM in the management of Risks and Opportunities, lessons learned and revenue forecasting.
Identification of Cost of Non Quality/Project Efficiency
Provide performance and variance metrics to the Project and Work Package Managers
Provide administrative services to the projects and ensure that meetings and actions are properly recorded and pursued to closure.
The Project Controller would typically have 3 - 5 years' relevant experience ideally within defence/aerospace and some or all of the following:
The ability to interpret the requirements of projects for a project control service and to effectively apply the correct processes and tools to ensure the effective delivery of the service, either directly or through the direction to other member of the Project Management Office,
The ability to provide accurate and up to date project control information to decision-makers in the Project Management Team,
Strong stakeholder management capabilities to work across the boundaries with the B&PM job family and across other functions,
Ability to establish and meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritise,
Strong planning and delivery orientation,
Commercial / financial / business acumen,
Contributes positively to a collaborative working environment.
Experience of providing an effective project control service in a complex multiple project delivery environment
Experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the full business lifecycle management, including capture, qualification and developing capture plans and winning strategies
Experience of client and stakeholder management in a complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-site project management context.
Experience that has provided a practical knowledge of commercial management, best practice supply chain and finance functions.

An ability to embrace and encourage change.
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance.
