Experienced Project Controller, within the constrution industry, required to support a Project Manager with all aspects of the construction projects including: sub contracts, vendors and / or accounts, budgets, quality, performance and output plans. Additionally, responsibly for monitoring & reporting progress to feed information as part of the project recording and review process.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Supporting the Project Manager with the assurance of sub contracts, work packages and / or small projects, ensure delivery of schedule, scope, risk management and quality of the sub contract.
Providing support in the creation of Reporting Packs and delivery of Project reports up through the business chain.
Assuring the compliance with all project management tools and techniques, e.g. Life cycle management, risk register, change control, etc.
Ensuring SHE and Quality Governance and compliance.
Taking responsibility for own performance and development and providing informal technical support to new team members.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of the following:
Experience of the construction industry is essential
Knowledge of PM processes, procedures, systems from Project Management experience demonstrated in a professional role within a project using Project Management tools, techniques and practices.
Knowledge of Project Management governance and assurance processes such as; Integrated Baseline Reviews
Knowledge of the Naval Base Services will be preferred
Third level education in the build environment will be preferred
Needs to work effectively in a team.
Needs to have strong Problem-Solving skills
Needs to have strong Stakeholder Management skills
Needs to have strong Communication skills
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance
