Your responsibilities as a Project Controller will involve:
Be responsible for the project management and control of activities necessary to assist the CAM(or CAMs) in successfully delivering a defined scope of work (discrete element of the contract known as a Control Account - CA) within budget, schedule and quality constraints
Ensure the definition, implementation and day to day management of the CAMs Control Accounts is compliant with the ANSI 748 standard and also satisfies programme and company LCM and Project Control criteria (PCSD)
Ensure all contractual requirements are satisfied (Cost, Schedule, Quality), escalating risks and issues that require senior management intervention
Provide ETC updates and variance explanation updates in support of the contract and update in line with contract authorisation and agreement with CAM ensuring inputs are provided on time and to the required standard. This will also support the quarterly Contract Status Review reporting process.
Perform time recording administration; monitor Works Authorisation Report (WAR), diversions bookings, action transfers, prepare CAM/Team Lead reports
Ensure governance and transparency is applied to all aspects of EVMS / Project Control and reporting and internal / external surveillance is fully supported
Support delivery of contractual reporting to our customers, ensuring they are on time, to the appropriate quality.
Provide technical guidance to the wider project/programme team on all aspects of project control
Your skills and qualifications as a Project Controller will ideally include:
Complete understanding of scheduling principles, concepts, practices and standards and knowledge of industry practices with experience of their practical application, preferably in a complex engineering environment.
The ability to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems and make clear, effective recommendations, referring to established precedents and policies as appropriate.
The ability to perform effectively under general direction only, and to plan and prioritise objectives and tasks to meet tight deadlines.
Working experience with project management toolsets is essential, as is understanding and experience of Earned Value Management
