Morson International are currently recruiting for a Project Controller to work for one of our leading aerospace clients in Yeovil. This is a contract position for 6 months+.

Training equipment, software and multimedia are produced by the simulation learning and support services UK development team for a variety of job roles on different helicopter platforms. The successful candidate will provide team coordination overseeing day to day operations by packaging up and distributing work for the instructional designers, 3D, 2D and software programmers and developers. As well as project supervision during various stages of the project life cycles from producing project development plans, through to end delivery and agreed customer changes.

  • Ensure schedule adherence to the defined priorities set by the programme
  • To deliver training solutions on time, to budget and within the project requirements.
  • Monitor quality of work by reviewing progress to the project development plan (PDP).
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with customer and peers.
  • Respond promptly to customer requirements and demonstrate good customer care.
  • Monitor the technical solutions in accordance with requirement verses budget.
  • Enhance teamwork by understanding the different skills sets, diverse personalities and competencies that will complement individual's strengths and weaknesses with the development technical leads.
  • Liaise with subject matter experts to ensure a technically correct product.
  • Serve as a point of contact to escalate problems, issues, prevent future re-occurrence and identify potential opportunities.
  • To provide constructive feedback and mentoring to individuals to enhance working practices and product quality.
  • Link individual contributions to the overall success of a project.
