Project Co-ordinator; Warton; £13.50/hr PAYE plus holidays; 9 month contract

Our client BAE Systems based in Warton, near Preston is looking for the Project Co-ordinator to support the Project Manager in the co-ordination of project activities and planning. This role is responsible for proactively maintaining programme management tools (reports, risks, action logs) to support a dynamic, fast-paced, recruitment transformation project.

Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate project activities such as meetings and workshops
Produce meeting minutes and actions in a timely manner
Assist in the preparation, collection and dissemination of information as requested
Support the Project Manager in the production and maintenance of project plans
Monitor and report risk and issue logs, raising any changes as early as possible
Proactively monitoring the Project Plan for completion dates, following up with the wider project team to ensure this is kept up to date
Creating reports project success data through Excel and PowerPoint
Maintain the project work space, document control and information management
Working closely with the Workstream leads to collate background/financial information for input into the business case
Support the selection process of the RPO and creation of the RFI
General administration to support the wider project team knowledge, skills & abilities:
Proven organisation and administrative experience in a project environment
Excellent attention to detail
Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision and to tight deadlines
The ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A can-do attitude, hands on approach and working as part of a team are requirements for assimilation into this fast-paced role.
