We have an opportunity for a Programme Support role to be based at Sellafield, Cumbria
Application of MSP principles to assess security shortfalls identified against the programme business case
A programme support engineer is required on the S&R programme team which will provide a number of capabilities to support the defence in depth model the S&R will provide.
Ideally the individual will be SC cleared and have previous Programme/project Management experience
The role is based at Sellafield Site and the programme team are located in B594 The programme will normally be contracted to work between 8.10am and 4.20pm at 37 hrs per week, although flexibility with working hours may be required, especially when project deadlines are looming.
Responsibilities will include:
Assessment of shortfalls within the programme against the programme business and develop of solutions to close capability gaps.
Production of problem definition statements to inform the programme management team of programme risks and capability shortfalls
Facilitation of optioneering and stakeholder meetings to find shortfall resolution.
Production of study reports in line with Sellafield ltd practices including presentation of Study reports to key committees and deputising for the Study Manager at key meetings when required.
Production of Periodic reporting dashboard for senior manager approval
Management and oversight of the shortfall resolution processes including production of shortfall closeout documentation.
Experience working with in the Nuclear industry or similar highly regulated industry
Experience working within complex programmes
Experience report writing and presentation to committees and regulators
Educated to HNC / HND or degree level
Experience working with Safety case or design shortfall resolution
Experience of working positively with the wide range of individuals involved in programme management
