Production Scheduler required to support the Master Production Scheduler with the day to day planning of operations, inventory control/reduction, ERP system control, capacity planning & new product introduction. The Production Scheduler will also support the Head of Logistics with the shipping & invoice documentation and deputise for the Master Production Scheduler in all aspects of this role in the event of absence.
The role will involve but not be limited to the following:
In accordance with the agreed Master Production Schedule (MPS) generate the Works Orders & issue to the respective manufacturing units.
Converse with all Departments to ensure that the MPS is effectively supported & concerns mitigated.
Monitor and report any risks against the MPS immediately to the Master Production Scheduler.
In conjunction with the Master Production Scheduler, continuously improve material/process flows & overall reduction in Inventory.
In conjunction with the Master Production Scheduler monitor & improve Works Order system hygiene.
Support all release/despatch/invoicing requirements inclusive of, Formwise, LOC, etc prior to release of goods, ensuring all the documentation involved is filed for Management/Audit purposes.
Record & publish KPI information as requested by Operation Management.
Prepare & publish internal/customer reports as requested by Operations Management.
Perform general administration duties as requested by Operations Management.
The Production Scheduler will have knowledge of FPT products and procedures. Inventory analysis experience and a good working knowledge of manufacturing planning systems & controls is also required.
Candidates will be self-motivated & proactive with a flexible approach to work related
Activities and the ability to communicate at all levels effectively.
Numeracy with good PC Skills and ability to plan ahead to meet commitments is required.
