Purpose of job: Product Management, Sales, Business Development

Reporting to: Head of Product Management

To lead major sales campaigns for both UK and Export opportunities

- Delivering agreed sales targets
- Growing the future sales pipeline both in the UK and Export Market
- Leading bid proposals and managing authorised bidding budgets
- Inputting to the future sales strategy and product requirements
- Ensuring the sales process is implemented and followed
- Driving standardisation and reuse strategy within the sales opportunities

Skills & experience required:
- Proven experience in domestic and international markets
- Able to integrate and play a leading role within the sales team 
- Broad range of capabilities (bidding, direct selling, marketing, business development) 
- Track record of success in large bids 
- Hard working, dedication and goal driven 
- Existing customer network within the UK MOD
- Can lead and manage teams to deliver large complex bids

Behavioural requirements:
- Able to work through intense bidding periods working to fixed goals
- Able to build customer/stakeholder networks in the UK and abroad
- Can build close teamwork between other divisions within the group
- Can lead internal teams to deliver high quality bids and product offerings 
- Strategic and forward thinking

Additional information:
- Experience in Military maritime product sales in the UK and export markets
- Can widen our UK network particularly into the support divisions of the UK MOD
- Specific experience with sales of MCM, ASW and unmanned system products

Candidates must hold or be able to achieve the required level of security clearance.
