Job Title: Procurement Operations Specialist; Location: Bristol Filton; Duration: 12 months
Rate: £10 - £14.32 per hour PAYE; Hours: Days 35 hours, Mon to Fri with lunchtime finish on Fri

Role Purpose
Accountable for management of supplier delivery performance. This role requires leadership skills to deliver against supplier and business performance objectives focused on procured parts delivery

Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for ensuring 100% on time in full delivery from suppliers
- Accountable for the supplier relationship and daily interface
- Accountable for ensuring a weekly multi-function team (MFT) review is taking place with key suppliers
- Daily communication with internal and external customers
- Accountable for the accuracy of supplier and procured parts data within SAP to ensure that demand signals minimise shortages and eliminates unwanted inventory
- Accountable for the daily maintenance of supplier promise dates to ensure that the most up to date accurate information is held within the supplier schedules
- Contribute towards and support the Procurement Operations Manager to deliver the Sales, Inventory and Operations Performance forecast monthly and support the delivery of the forecast
- Accountable for the adherence to standard procurement processes and daily regimen
- Management of the suppliers forward load to ensure that they have adequate capacity and capability to deliver against commitments
- Ownership of the supplier scorecard process to ensure that they supplier performances communicated to all levels of the supplier and is regularly reviews as part of the MFT reviews
- Compliance with all risk assessments and company Environment, Health and Safety Procedures relevant to all work activities. Reporting of all accidents and near misses as per the company's procedure and implantation of identified corrective actions. Maintain good standards of housekeeping in designated work areas
- Champion 'Export Control' compliance activities, ensuring you are where applicable, members of the team, adhere to the site Technology Control Plan (TCP), guaranteeing compliance with Export Control Regulations, controls training and systems

Qualifications and Skills - Formal Qualifications

Essential:
- ERP Proficiency
- IT Literacy especially Excel
- Relationship Management

Desirable:
- Degree Qualified in Business Administration
- 2+ years' experience in purchasing
- MCIPS qualification
