Job Description

To support eCommerce activity within Supply Chain, advising on the execution of eSourcing activities through a market leading eSourcing toolset.

The position holder will support Contract Managers in the delivery of all aspects of eSourcing including:

creating sourcing events (RFx, eAuction, scoring)

managing supplier connection (supplier application process)

supplier on-boarding

delivery of internal and external training

development and continuous improvement of the eCommerce toolset

Responsibilities

Support in the execution of eSourcing activities in Exostar (or equivalent)

Develop and own a library of strategic sourcing event templates covering RFI, RFP, RFQ, eAuction, Scoring and Reporting events, such that strategic deliverables can be realised

Support the delivery of eSourcing Services covering Event Management, Access Management, Incident Management and Request Fulfilment spanning the full sourcing process

Act as a point of contact across Supply Chain, Engineering, IM&T, 3rd party vendors and suppliers

Deliver training users both internal and external suppliers

Manage Exostar to ensure key deliverables are achieved

Support future development of eSourcing strategies

Skills

Experience of Strategic Sourcing

Experience of building sourcing events within an eSourcing toolset

Training & Facilitation skills

Strong communicator, able to effectively influence outside the team

Management Information report generation and analysis
