We have an opportunity for a Procurement - Accounts Assistant based at the Vertex Centre in Whitehaven, Cumbria.
This role is required to provide general assistance to procurement and purchase ledger. Examples of the type of work would be assisting the buyer in admin work associated with placement of orders, matching delivery tickets and orders to invoices, identifying discrepancies and liaising with relevant person to rectify.
Checking plant returns to identify where items have been returned in line with the order date, identifying the action required and closing out through the teams.
This role will suit a competent administrator who is looking to progress to a potentially more senior role and who is able to work under own initiative but will always be prepared to ask for help and guidance.
BPSS or SC Security Clearance would be an advantage.
