Experience & Skills Required
Knowledge of process safety / nuclear safety in an manufacturing or chemical process setting.
Responsible for setting and monitoring the framework to ensure site compliance with the COMAH Regulations and Nuclear Site Licence Conditions
Development and provision of leadership in the implementation of a Process Safety Management system and process safety indicators.
Support site compliance with high other hazard related regulations e.g. DSEAR, occupied buildings risk assessements either through own expertise or acting as an intelligent customer
Lead communication with competent authorities regarding compliance with COMAH Regulations.
Provides technical expertise and mentorship for site on process safety on significant investigations and changes, supplier assessments
Support site audits, site self-assessments activities and management review .
Identify and implement Process Safety Management best practice to
Experience of process safety systems such as HAZOP, SIL, LOPA and process control strategies for managing hazards.
NEBOSH Certificate in Process Safety Management or equivalent (Essential)
NEBOSH General Certificate (or a commitment to work towards) (Essential)
Recognised lead auditor training (or a commitment to work towards) (Essential)
Appropriate instruction in conducting investigations, as well as Root Cause Analysis (or a commitment to work towards) (Essential)
Must be able to attain Baseline Clearance (Essential)
