Job Title : Process Controls System Engineer

Pay rate - £23.05 p/h (PAYE)
Length - initially for 6 months
Hours - 37.5 per week (Mon - Fri)

A company car will be provided

Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Process Controls System Engineer to join the building management solutions team based in Didsbury to work across one of the most prestigious client sites.


Responsibilities

You will undertake pre-planned maintenance activities across the clients Process control systems which are predominantly Siemens S7.

You will be able to identify faults across these process control systems and rectify them where needed following strict change control measures

You will be able to execute small control logic changes and assist with commissioning where needed.

Navigate the process control systems and software to identify and resolve any issues presented within the systems

Qualifications

Strong Electrical & Mechanical background from working in a process control environment
Process controls engineering experience
Experienced in PLC fault finding and programming (Siemens S7 preferable) a must have
Experienced in change control validation processes and procedures
GMP / GAMP process experience although training on this will be given for the right candidate
Experience in computer validation ( COMVAL )
Sound knowledge and experience of working across building management systems and controls.
You'll be electrically proficient.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to think on your feet.
You'll need to have a full UK driving license.


A drug screening will be required on all successful candidates.
