As Principal electrical engineer you will have the opportunity to work on a number of exciting projects with a particular focus on Energy, Defence, Rail and Healthcare. Job Description You will be joining a professional environment within an established building services team, where you will be offered the opportunity to continue your professional development. You will be acting as a technical mentor, working, and liaising with associated engineering disciplines as part of delivering projects and helping to develop and grow the team around you. Your role will be to help further promote and develop business growth, in a role that provides the potential for great reward, skill set and career development.
You will also:
* Responsibility for own projects
* Manage internal and external stakeholders - Support and run the commercial and contractual side of projects
* Identify new business opportunities and have involvement in bids/tenders etc
* Offer consultative service to clients, exceeding expectations and delivering first class service
Candidate Specification Previous experience within building services, as well leading project teams and mentoring other engineers. This will be a client facing role so the ability to manage those relationships is required and the strong communication skills.
You will need:*Have proven electrical building services experiences
*Experience in Energy, Defence, Rail or Healthcare would be desirable
*Be a chartered electrical or buildings services engineer
*Be degree qualified in electrical building services engineering or similar
*Have a strong understanding of electrical design and modelling software
