Major Job Functions

  • Calculate and maintain the list price of all new machines using various CAT systems, trade discounts, Third Party Supplier price lists and input into the deal sheet
  • Liaise with the Marketing team in support of all campaigns and promotions to ensure campaign specific pricing is represented in deal sheets for the appropriate time period
  • Work with Product and Sales Managers to manage new Product Introductions and the Purchasing Team to keep up to date with the latest products and optimise pricing
  • Use the Finning quotation system to handle and distribute quotes
  • Work closely and effectively with the Strategic Accounts teams during the tendering process for strategic deals to ensure the customer specific requirements are accommodated

  • Responsible for maintaining the Finning standard price book. Ensure responses to pricing requests is effective and efficient. Complete a Technical Sign Off of Deal Sheets to ensure accuracy and viability, and to ensure that all processes have been followed before the Deal Sheet is accepted. Use Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Corrective Action methodology to drive performance improvement. Ensure accuracy of UK Machine Configuration, Price Book and Deal Sheet pricing. Good quote and technical review response times.

Education and Experience

  • Experience of handling a high volume of data
  • Previous experience in a similar role within similar industry environment (desirable)
