PMO Support required to be responsible for the planning, monitoring and control of PMO processes within the programme, communication of the processes and assuring adherence to the processes. The role shall specifically focus on the variable demand that is required by projects in order to deliver change to the customers. The role includes activities related to resource management, reporting aggregation and driving assurance checks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Enabling the core PMO capabilities and processes to be implemented by providing support to the programme community.
Run and own the administration of multiple core PMO processes including; Programme Change Request process, Programme Reporting Starter & Leaver process, Resourcing and Invoicing / Purchase Orders.
Define new processes and improve existing processes where this is appropriate and compatible with the concept of Continuous Improvement as well as undertake assurance activities to identify improvement and help areas.
Create information dashboards to improve Programme operational performance and contribute to PMO roadmap and capability development.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:
Competent in Project reporting and Resource Management or a related area such as; Workforce Planning, Project Scheduling, Time booking or Business Change
Competent knowledge of LCM, Business Analysis, Project Management, Change Management and Business Process Reengineering concepts and techniques
Highly motivated and self-disciplined, with the ability to work alone, under the minimum of supervision
Is able to establish strong working relationships that engender honesty, openness and trust and can demonstrate an ability to deliver and manage expectations to ensure long and positive working relationships
Operate a high level of organisation and understand prioritisation in tasks assigned
Can be relied upon to deliver team and personal targets and results
Educated to HNC or equivalent, preferably in a related discipline
Familiarity with computer-based Project Management tools including MS Project, MS Office, MS MyPlan and SharePoint
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance
