Morson International are recruiting Pipe Fitters local to Barrow, on behalf of our prestigious defence client, BAE Systems. Candidates must be time served and able to provide apprenticeship certificates.

Job Description:

Installing pipes/modules on board a vessel.

Work safely at all times, complying with Health and Safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines.

Follow the relevant instructions, drawings and any other Quality Standards/Specifications.

Use the appropriate methods and techniques to fabricate, assemble, install pipe and maintain work systems and associated components.

Check the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been completed to meet the required.

Quality Standards/Specification.

Use associated tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Shipbuilding or nuclear experience is advantageous.

Various shifts and working arrangements may apply.

Due to the nature of the role, successful candidates will be required to gain SC clearance before eligible to start on site.
