Administration Functional Manager; Crawley; 6 month contract (with review); 37 hours per week; £19.00ph.

We are currently recruiting for an Administration Manager on behalf of our client based in Crawley.The role will initially be for 6 months and will then be reviewed.
The purpose of the role is to lead a function team of PA's and administrators, as well as supporting 2 directors and a communications team.

Key duties will include:
Conduct Annual activities such as PDD, AAD and objective setting
Approve Holidays, overtime, smart working, working from home and manage sickness
Manage performance or any other employment relations issues
Read pay review/ people review for the administration function.
Align roles, job descriptions, LR and reward to ensure consistency
Manage resources to meet the needs of the business
Recruit and manage interviews where required
Chair regular team meetings to encourage the sharing of knowledge, processes and tools to ensure best practice
Ensure competency and skills standards for the function are developed and maintained
Create a supportive environment for individuals
Mentor or coach individuals as requested
Support the zone coordinator network
Manage a budget
Training and development where necessary
PA duties
Coordinate complex calendars and schedules
Own the setup of meetings across multiple time zone, booking rooms, organising passes etc .
Facilitate travel plans
Deal with all incoming emails, post and day to day queries
Complete expense claims, purchase orders, PowerPoint presentations , reports etc
Host visitors
Support meetings as required
Work as part of the PA Team
Support the internal communications tea, with administration activities such as internal events
Candidates should have previous management experience, and in particular in the management of people.Previous administration / secretarial support experience is essential, along with being well organised, an ability to make decisions and problem solve.
Candidates must also be an advanced user of MS office packages, be able to work on a confidential basis with n eye for detail.
