Payroll Project Manager - Leeds - 6 Months

We are partnering with one of our clients to source an experienced Project Manager to oversee a migration from an in-house payroll function to a payroll bureau.

The Payroll Project Manager role is a temporary assignment for 6 months reporting directly into the Head of HR.

Role Responsibilities will include:
* Project managing the migration from the current in-house payroll system, across to a payroll bureau
* Deliver projects in accordance with the project objectives, specifications and stakeholder requirements in accordance with agreed project schedule and budget
* Identify, document, and understand project dependencies
* Identify key stakeholders who participate in project scope definition
* Planning, organising and controlling of activities so the project is completed successfully
* Coordinating the effort of the project team and support functions to ensure the project objectives are achieved
* Responsible for the creation of project plan and charter plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log
* Ensure resources are assigned to project & monitor commitment
* Ensures change control is executed throughout project
* Establishes project communication needs and create project communication plan
* Creates the project risk management plan

Experience & Skills Required:
* Payroll Project Management experience is essential and the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate significant experience in delivering payroll projects
* Experience helping a team to transition through a change period
* Great team work and communication skills
* Systems savvy
* Proactive nature
* A relevant PM qualification such as Agile, Prince 2 or PMP would also be highly beneficial.
