Payroll Consultant

Our client is provides services to large Infrastructure Projects. They are undergoing a Project to re-structure their payroll operations.
The role is outside IR35 and can be done primarily remotely with essential office visits.

Main project deliverables between now and go live
• Complete documentation of UAT scripts. – this is more formulaic than other testing.
• Carry out UAT.
• Planning the detailed logistics of Payroll Parallel run - in conjunction with the Core HR design lead, the Interface team, Programme Manager (and others as required)
• Completing Parallel run x 2 (and potentially a reverse parallel run from Oracle)
• Running the payroll
• Running reconciliation reports and comparing with the live payroll
• Identifying discrepancies
• Updating data
• Rerunning payroll until reconciled
• Participate in cutover planning - the detailed pre deployment plan of when we stop using MHR when we start using Oracle, data migration, manual adjustments etc
• Liaising with the banks, revenue pension providers etc re cutover
• Participate in cutover activity.
