We are currently looking for an experienced permanent part time receptionist to work in Fareham for afternoon position 12.30 - 17.00.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

To provide first point of contact for visitors, greeting clients in a courteous and professional manner, directing them to the appropriate person or department

  • Maintain security by following relevant procedures and ensuring all visitors complete relevant sign in process
  • Be responsible for all site security badges both permanent and temporary
  • Be responsible for all employee ID passes
  • To provide primary phone cover for all incoming calls
  • Use tannoy system to make company announcements
  • To ensure all the post is received, opened date stamped and distributed quickly and accurately
  • To ensure all outgoing post is franked correctly according to size/weight and destination
  • To provide goods-in cover as and when entrance gates are closed
  • To arrange couriers as and when required, in line with the business needs
  • Book meetings rooms as and when required
  • To forward T&A sheets every Monday morning to managers & supervisors
  • To collate T&A sheets and update any adjustments required
  • To assist HR with entering any overtime from overtime authorisation sheets or time sheets
  • To assist HR with any administrative tasks as and when required
  • Ensuring reception area is kept clean, tidy and organised at all times

Skills & attributes:

  • Experience of working in a 'front-of-house' environment
  • Professional appearance
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to be Flexible to cover holidays/sickness for other receptionist
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks
