Paint Sprayer / Packer
The company designs and manufactures bespoke hydraulic cylinders for a wide range of customers in various sectors ranging from agricultural to automotive and MOD. A vacancy has become available within the company and the main role will involve all aspects of the painting process, from preparing/stripping parts, managing consumable usage, to basic paint shop equipment maintenance and painting the final product.
Actual time spent spray painting will be a maximum of 50%, the rest of the time will involve packing the finished items ready for dispatch, fork lift truck driving, ensuring the whole engineering workshop is kept clean and tidy and some driving of the works vehicle for deliveries.
Must have experience in spray painting using 2 pack epoxy and semi-gloss paints, apprentice trained desirable.
The ability to understand and read basic engineering drawings.
Ability to drive a fork lift truck preferred but not essential.
Hold a clean driving licence.
Must be able to work to tight deadlines and high targets due to the fast paced nature of the role.
To maintain good housekeeping.
To adhere to health and safety regulations and rules.
