Our Client a leading UK building and civil engineering company is currently looking for Package Managers/ Package Engineers with Groundwork/Steel work experience.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, coordination and management of a number of sub-contractor employed in a variety of trades within the respective area of works.
JOB SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE (essential)
Minimum 4 years' work experience within the construction industry
Proven working experience in package management
Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
A good practical understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
A good understanding of all facets of the construction process
Familiarity with construction software packages
Ability to prioritise, plan, schedule and evaluate works
Ability to prepare a 3 week look-ahead programme with assistance of project planner
Ability to manage conflict through conflict resolution
JOB SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE (desirable)
Knowledge and experience in use of Project Planning/Programme Techniques
Degree in civil engineering construction management or related field
Relevant Construction Skills Certificate Card
Associate or graduate membership of construction industry related Professional Body (e.g CIOB,ICE)
Site Management Safety Training Scheme SMSTS
