An Order Book Manager is required to support our client BAE Systems with completing supply chain transactions effectively (confirmation, receipt and issue etc.) The successful candidate will have previous supply chain experience and will have experience of managing order books and liaising with internal and external suppliers.
Duties will involve;
- Maintain order book management to optimum standard through collaboration with the customer, procurement and all other key stakeholders ensuring delivery to the required standards.
- Support order book reviews with internal and external stakeholders and present order status
- Produce reporting/metrication in order to assess order book management performance. Ensure trends are identified and escalated, as appropriate.
- Identify any capability, capacity issues and work with the Order Book Management Specialist to ensure resolution where practical, or escalation, as appropriate.
The successful applicant will have strong systems skills including knowledge of all MS office packages and previous experience working within an ERP system. Data Analysis skills would be advantageous.
