Description

Our Client has a requirement for Operational Analysts to join their growing team of consultants and analysts, working with clients across government and industry to support key business and policy decisions.

As an Operational Analyst you will work across a range of domains using a variety of Operational Research techniques (e.g. simulation modelling, spreadsheet modelling, data analytics, cost/benefit analysis) or related consultancy skills (e.g. workshop facilitation, problem structuring, process analysis).

Responsibilities as an Operational Analyst will involve:

Working within project teams to deliver modelling/analysis/consultancy projects

Consulting with clients to understand their requirements and develop solutions

Communicating and presenting findings to clients

Supporting the transfer of analytical and modelling capability into the clients' organisations

Supporting business winning activities

Skills/Experience/Qualifications

A degree, masters or PhD in a numerate subject

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail

Ability to communicate technical solutions to a non-technical audience

Good communication and interpersonal skills towards clients and internal project teams

Ability to effectively prioritise, demonstrate good time management, etc.

Self-motivated and comfortable working individually and within a team
