My client are a multibillion pound, global engineering organisation that are engaged on engineering works for a prestigious renewable energy project off the east coast of the UK.
This offshore windfarm will see up to 172 wind turbines installed, generating up to 1200 Megawatts of electricity and covering an area of approximately 305km2.
You will take up the role of Engineering Manager/Coordinator for a key package within one of Europe's largest offshore projects. The role will primarily be based out of the companies Glasgow Offices with trips both around the UK and overseas and will run for a minimum of 5 months from May 2019.
This will involve providing key engineering advice, assessment and recommendations to ensure delivery of a multi-contract package within time, to budget and quality following industry best practice and observing the maximum respect for Health, Safety and the Environment to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
You should have knowledge and experience of engineering design and delivery within the offshore/marine sectors. Also you be educated to Degree level in a relevant engineering discipline.
Substantial experience in relevant field with a minimum experience of 5 years in either Offshore Wind, Onshore Wind, Oil and Gas, Construction, Engineering or similar - preferably in offshore wind or transmissions systems.
