We are delighted to be given the opportunity to recruit on behalf of our Client based in Leiston.
This is an opportunity to join a small successful team covering maternity leave part-time possibly leading to a permanent position for the right candidate.
This role will consist of, but will not be restricted to the following:
The role involves providing administrative support and warehouse assistance for a small friendly office/warehouse.
Duties include working closely with suppliers, organising logistics, updating spreadsheets, processing orders and working on reports for analysis.
The role will also involve picking products, packing orders either in cartons or on pallets and organising goods in/out.
The candidate will require good levels of fitness as pallets can be heavy when manoeuvring via pallet truck.
Other duties will include keeping the warehouse neat and tidy at all times.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as an Office Administrator.
You will have good communication and organisational skills.
Have a flexibility approach to your work load and have a can do attitude.
Ability to multi-task and prioritise work, as well as working as part of a small team is essential.
You will have excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
Be computer literate with experience of using Microsoft Office packages including Sage Line 50 Accounts experience (an advantage, but training offered).
Experience of transport and freight logistics (an advantage).
Team player with a professional approach and easy going personality.
Hours of Work will be initially 3 days per week which may rise to 4.
8.30am to 5.00pm with 1 hour lunch (un paid).
