CCNA Qualified Network Support Engineer - CONTRACT - LEEDS
The key qualities are CCNP Security and hands on experience troubleshooting and fixing routing and switching issues on large Cisco networks.
Linux skills, Cisco ISE and Firepower skills an advantage but not essential.
Role is to deal with network alerts on clients system and deal with reported faults within an SLA
Routing, Switching and security faults mainly
9-5 monday to friday and to be available for remote support on an "on call basis"
Mid Feb start
Provide telephonic and remote support for customers and support contract customers as per defined processes and customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
To respond, create, update and close tickets in the request tracking system as per company's processes.
To also provide support to managed serviced customers using management software tools and update systems as appropriately required.
Engage with the Solutions Architect and Solutions teams to help design, plan and implement customer solutions.
Pre-configure network equipment for customers' sites or network deployment.
Create and test network solutions in lab environment as per company's and accreditations.
Document network solutions and on-going changes in line with current requirements and processes.
The Solutions Support Engineer will have a good technical understanding of the solutions to enable them to support Senior Solutions Engineers and present a detailed demonstration for customers.
The Support Solutions Engineer will learn how to tailor the demonstration to highlight business and/or technical requirements that interest the customer.
