Multi Skilled Operative

6 months contract

36 hours standard

Mon-Fri


Role Description:

  • Multi Skilled Operative will be working Under direction of the construction delivery team.
  • Will provide multi skilled site support, assist in ensuring high health, safety, and make sure environmental standards are maintained throughout the project
  • Will contribute in closing out site inspections actions, and proactively promote and implement the safest working practices.
  • Will be responsible for maintaining the site, including maintaining site fencing, managing site signage, and addressing actions raised in site safety tour.
  • Also support in the site logistics with regards to signing people into site, accepting deliveries and unloading where required.


Required qualifications/experience:


* Valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card (Blue Preferred)
* A17 - Telescopic Handler (Preferred)
* A73 - Plant and Vehicle Marshaller
* LANTRA Operative status (TM card) incl. 12A/B General Operative course and assessments (preferred)
* Level 2 NVQ Diploma Joinery and site carpentry (preferred)
* Qualification and experience in the use of utilities identification equipment (e.g. CAT & Genny) preferred
* First Aid at work qualification preferred but not essential
* Committed to delivering works to the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance

Job location: Devonport Royal Dockyard,Plymouth
