Monitoring Tool Design Specialist - Bracknell & Basingstoke - £61,000 + £6,000 car allowance + 15% bonus scheme

I am working with a global defence organisation that is on the lookout for a Monitoring Tool Design specialist to work at their offices in Basingstoke and Bracknell.

It will be your job to design and roll-out monitoring tools across networks and servers as well as looking at the bigger picture such as cost and resources that are needed for the project.

They are looking for some of the below but do not expect all!

  • Server Event Monitoring and Log Analysis
  • Server Capacity and Performance monitoring
  • Automated Incident logging and scripting for automated fixes
  • Software Delivery and Patching
  • Asset Discovery and CMDB update
  • Intelligent systems for root cause analysis and fault prediction - Machine Learning.

This client has a variation of projects that they could align you to. This is one of the main reasons that they will provide you with Sarba and PluralSight to complete internal and external training courses on cutting edge technologies which will enable to bring your training to practice in a commercial environment. They will provide you with days to complete training courses during work hours so you are not doing work outside of core hours. There is flexible and home working on offer but this is dependant on the project that you are working on during that time.

This client is still heavily recruiting so if you are unsure of your work situation due to these unprecedented times, then do not hesitate to get in touch!
