Mission Systems SEIT Lead
Would you like to be a part of the indigenous multi-role combat aircraft TFX programme? We currently have an exciting vacancy for an experienced Mission Systems SEIT Lead based in Turkey Ankara.
As a Mission Systems SEIT Lead you will be responsible for the delivery of Systems Engineering products (and processes) across the AMS IPTL, incorporating Avionics, Weapons and associated Software engineers. The scope of the AMS SEIT role includes the overall integration of design, development, delivery and qualification/certification activities to ensure that the sub-systems within the Avionics Mission System IPT are coordinated across the programme.
Within this role you will be responsible for managing the Systems Engineering products (and processes) across the AMS IPT, including requirements decomposition and flowdown, System Safety, and Qualification/Certification activities.
Your main responsibilities as a Mission Systems SEIT Lead will involve:
Influence, agree and capture requirements with the appropriate technical specialists
Manage key Integration interfaces by working with customers, partners, suppliers and TF-X project teams (both engineering and non-engineering)
Establish coherent qualification and certification strategy, ensuring that associated requirements are flowed to the design team for incorporation
Perform appropriate engineering planning, management and review of activities to ensure the TF-X configuration provides an integrated solution, is safe, fully compliant with the agreed requirements and cost effective
Review the processes and procedures within the span of control to reduce waste, improve efficiency and establish a dynamic and flexible best in class capability
Ensure developed solutions are clearly defined, integrated, configured and controlled, including resolution of conflicts and integration issues that occur through development and delivery phases
Assure the maturity of the developed solutions is appropriate for the specific requirement and that all technical risks and opportunities are captured
Ensure all engineering activities are undertaken in line with the Air Operational Framework and that compliance with Air engineering policies is maintained
Your skills and qualifications:
Comprehensive understanding of the physical, functional and performance attributes which require optimisation and integration to produce a high performance, multi-role combat aircraft capable of meeting the TF-X ORDD requirements.
Requires significant knowledge and understanding of:
Mission Systems capability and associated sub-disciplines, including Avionics, weapons and software skill sets.
Platform system integration along with requirements management, system safety, ground and flight testing, qualification & certification, generation of Systems Clearances.
DAOS regulatory framework.
Operational programme project management and delivery.
