Job Description The MS Integration Engineer will be a member of the Mission System Team supporting the platform activities associated with the installation, setting-to-work and test and acceptance of the Mission System.

Main Purpose: Provide support to physical and functional system integration activities in Rosyth Provide advice on the electrical safety of MS equipment and installations. To ensure that the Mission System Integration on the platform is in accordance with the agreed design rules and current safety legislation. The role is Rosyth-based, however the candidate may be required to travel to other supplier sites on an occasional basis.

Responsibilities Tasks and Activities: The MS Integration Engineer contribute to the planning, conduct and recording of the MS Integration activities, working with other members of the integration team, suppliers and client teams. Integration of the Mission System 'system of systems' on the platforms. Conduct low level interface testing to ensure to ensure continuity of signal path on system interface cables. Conduct fault finding and diagnostics on system interfaces Running of informal and formal system level test sessions, demonstrating the requirements associated with the various individual subsystems and ensuring that they operate within the context of the wider Mission System capability. Carry out data recordings to support gathering of integration evidence. Compilation and presentation of acceptance evidence. Production of trials reports.
