1. Purpose of the Job
Support activities leading to maintenance readiness for handover of the Crossrail Central Operating Section of by July 2018. Assist Maintenance Engineers in reviewing O&M documentation from Crossrail and ensuring as built information, asset data and spares is to the required quality and format at acceptance.
2. Principal Accountabilities
Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Information review and comments
Test and Commissioning Data collation, review and comment
Complete site auditing and verification against designs and standards
Produce non-conformance reports and escalate issues
Arrange multi department meetings, record actions and ensure deliverables are implemented in the 'plan'.
Interface with LO, LU, MTR, Crossrail, Network Rail, Asset Engineering and Operations to ensure appropriate information is received and communicated as appropriate.
Manage deliverables detailed in the maintenance readiness delivery plan
Activities as decided by the line manager to achieve the departmental goals
Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected in the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working to the Crossrail Target Zero principles.
Co-operate with Crossrail in all matters relating to health and safety, including following safe working procedures at all times

3. Main challenges of the job
Provision of a tracker detailing T&C data review and status.
Timely review of O&M and T&C information
Audit Reports produced for each Station, Shaft and Portal
Working with multiple stakeholders and different organisations.
Achieving programme delivery to challenging timescales.
Adapting to strategic needs and competing priorities.
4. Dimensions & Interfaces (both internal and external)
Reporting to the Infrastructure Maintenance Engineering
Interfacing with various Maintenance & Engineering disciplines.
Liaising with Project Managers including RfL, Crossrail and the Project Delivery team.
Liaising with Operation Business team and wider Operations directorate for governance and performance progress reporting.
5. Person Specification
Must have significant knowledge and experience in Mechanical Building Systems and Asset Management.
Previously worked on Crossrail Delivery Projects would be desirable
Good understanding of Crossrail Handover Process, Asset Information (O&Ms, Asset Data) would be desirable
Experience in Project Engineering
Able to understand complex, technical concepts and translate them into clear, accessible content with accuracy and attention to detail.
An awareness of Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality practices as applicable to a rail environment.
Good organisational and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Able to work using own initiative and manage own workload.
Confident and professional in face-to-face, phone, email and web communications.
High level of computer literacy, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of documentation management systems.
Experience of working in a railway maintenance environment would be advantageous.
