The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following;Perform a range of maintenance tasks, including: strip, repair, modification and maintenance work i.e. removal, installation and functional test at appropriate levels of supervision.
Competent to work with approved data in the form of maintenance instruction and schedules for planned and un-planned tasks.
Requires a good knowledge of the approved data set and the ability to complete a task by correctly locating and accurately following a directed procedure.
Nature of impact: Limited but direct impact on the business. Impact is related to quality of output and the contribution to continued airworthiness.
Area of impact: Restricted to own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related. The performance of the teams will be directly affected by the performance of the individual (impact on product, credibility and business reputation).
Must be able to exchange ideas and information in a concise and logical way and be sensitive to audience diversity. Tact and basic politeness is required.
Understanding and application of human factors, error management, health & safety and proactive hazard analysis, appropriate to the role.
