Morson are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector for our Aerospace client based in Wrexham to start ASAP.

Duties:

Inspection of product and checking on a specific and audit basis
Specifically:
a) To carry out inspection of detail parts and assembles to drawing/specification to verify conformity
b) Verify parts are correct to drawing requirements to include the correct orientation (hand)
c) Check that part mark details are correct as per job card and drawing.
d) Verify that all previous operations have been completed and signed off and stamped
e) Cross check Job cards to ensure that the paint used has the correct batch code according to the relevant customer specification
f) Identify and record all faults found with jobs into the relevant logbook and escalate to the Line Manager
g) The formal reporting of any process or product non-conformity via NCR process
h) To release all internal job cards as per the company standards and customer specification using EFACS
i) To complete and sign off the job history card to allow for full traceability
j) The verification and supporting of any rework or repairs necessary ensuring due process is observed
k) The verification and monitoring of the deployment and ongoing maintenance of any other identified remedial or corrective actions identified either by MRB or the QA department.


Auditing of the condition of product and/or documentation to verify:


a) Freedom from damage
b) Product conformity to drawing, standard or specification
c) EFACS and Stores records match the part number, location and quantity.


Conducting specific product inspections to verify conformance to drawing, standard or specification at the instruction of the QA department
