We have an opportunity for a Mechanical CAD Design Engineer based at Westlakes, Cumbria and working from home.

Job Role

Provide design engineering support to the client multi-disciplined engineering team

The role will include carrying out: configuration reviews, drawing configuration checks, optioneering reports, constructability reviews, outline and detailed design work as well as the production of Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) and other project specific requirements
Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel and visitors

Follow and promote safe working practices

Minimum ONC in mechanical engineering
Qualifications and/or significant experience in the operation of software design tools (such as AutoCad, RasterCad, Revit)
IOSH Managing or Working Safely

Experience of working on Sellafield Site including experience with 'Safe Systems of Work' and formal work control procedures
A good understanding of legislation and standards relevant to the Sellafield Site

Able to meet SL requirements for access to controlled areas.

Baseline Personal Security Standard (BPSS) or Security Check (SC) level would be an advantage
