Morson Talent currently have an opportunity available for a Material Planner to work on a full time, contract basis for one of our large Aerospace clients based in Yeovil, Somerset.

Key Accountabilities:

• Work with Key Stakeholders both internal and external to the business
• Resolve day to day inventory issues on assigned contracts/products
• Reduce costs by improving forecasting capability and control of inventory
• Operate common processes across the business for the forecasting, procurement and management of materials supported by MRP systems such as SAP

Skills and experience required:

• Understanding of Supply Chain Management including MRP is essential
• Experience within an Engineering/Aerospace environment
• IT literate within MRP Systems (SAP Desirable)
• Strong interpersonal and team skills
