Marketing Executive - Somerset


The role of Marketing Executive is to work in one of the fastest growing areas of the business. Reporting to the Global Brand Manager, the successful candidate will work alongside our designers, buyers, distributors and sales teams to grow our brand globally. This will include assisting with all aspects of marketing including digital marketing, advertising, press and public relations, exhibitions and events, market research, data entry, catalogue and video production, and any other marketing and general administration activity that might be required.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Manage daily administration e.g. quotes, purchase orders, travel bookings, expenses
* Updating of Stockist List on website
* Handle all product orders for marketing e.g. product testing & competition winners
* Price checking and proof reading
* Data capture
* Assist with production of catalogues
* Prepare marketing reports as required (Excel & PowerPoint)
* Manage the marketing inbox (email)
* Other adhoc marketing administration as required

EXECUTIVE

* Internal planning and logistics of assigned trade shows and events.
* Liaise with supplier to source marketing collateral as required
* Prepare briefs for designers and media studio
* Work closely with the Digital Marketing Exec to maintain brand website, including reviews
* Work with Digital Marketing Exec to execute email campaigns & digital ads
* Propose plan and implement print advertising campaigns (media relations)
* Manage all print adverts, working closely with designers
* Organise product reviews and nominate products for industry awards
* Take ownership of brand social platforms, keeping these fresh & consistent
* Manage social inboxes, responding and escalating where required
* Research and negotiate with advertising titles
* Research new event and brand partnerships
* Lead planning and execution of events where required (hands on)
* Assist with Premier Stockist Programme and merchandising
* Assist with the production of video and photography as required
* Manage competitions through brands social platforms
* Work closely with counterparts in Germany & France
* Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity

Requirements:
* Candidates must be from a marketing background
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Good knowledge of marketing techniques (including social media)
* Skilled in Microsoft Office
* Be a team player
* Strong consumer and product awareness
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Confident, able to see tasks through to finish
* Strong work ethic and a self motivator
* Full driving licence
* Flexible, willing to travel and occasionally work weekends
