Marine Engineer

Immediate vacancies (x5) within Marine Engineering;

- Installation Engineer - Commissioning Engineer (controls bias) - Service Engineer -

Candidates will need to have Navy/Merchant Navy experience (either from employer or customer), with a solid background in installation, commissioning (controls experience required, marine is desirable) or service/repair backgrounds respectively.

Home based from anywhere in the UK and with c£60k OTE.


Build, supply, installation, service and repair of large marine plant and systems.


You will work within either the marine installation, commissioning or service teams. Working around the world on customer sites, this could be at sea or dry docks.

- Marine Installation Engineer; Working from engineering drawings and with support by the technical support team, you will install large marine plant. Initially attending pre-installation meetings, working alongside design/project teams and customers to create installation plan. Onsite, you will work alongside and manage local engineers in the installation of equipment. Updating the office on progress, issues and changes. You will need to have experience with piping systems.

- Commissioning Engineer; Ideally coming from a marine background, you will have solid experience with control systems. You will have the ability to change programs to optimise electro-mechanical systems based on specification. You will ideally have previous training (preferably with OEMs such as Mitsubishi, ABB, Siemens, Omron, Schneider, etc) and relevant electrical qualifications.

-Service Engineer

You will work on marine plant and systems post installation and commissioning. Utilising your fault-finding experience, your role will be to service and repair equipment. This could be warranty work, breakdowns or upgrades. You will have proven background within the Navy, Merchant Navy or Cruise Ships.

The roles are ideally suited to a sea-going engineer, with experience needs to be from Navy, Merchant Navy, Cruise Ships or potentially Super Yachts.

You will be based in the UK, with ability to commit to travelling around the world, up to 2 - 6 weeks at a time (paid time off will be given in accordance to time spent away).


OTE c£60,000 + package
