Our Kings Norton Client has a requirement for a Manufacturing Engineer to undertake the following contract role.

Role Purpose


To assess and improve a number at production processes relating to the manufacture of windows for aircraft-utilising and deploying process Improvement tools such as the Six Sigma (DMAIC) problem tools,

Key Responsibilities


Deploying process improvement tools such as Six Sigma to solve complex problems within an aerospace manufacturing environment
Practically load and support the Implementation of solutions
Coach and support the manufacturing sites to sustain and further improve on problem
solutions
Coach and develop engineers, technicians, operational leaders etc., in process improvement
tools such as Six Sigma and associated methodology
Network with other Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma practitioners within the Aerospace division for best practice and knowledge sharing

Qualifications & Skills Essential


Bachelor or Master level degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to a Lean Operating Model/business system
Six Sigma Black Belt level certification by a recognised body or company
