Our Broughton Client ha a requirement for a Manufacturing Engineer to undertake the below contract role

Main activities of role :-

The role will consist of working line side within a production environment supporting and anticipating issues that will stop the production team from meeting their work package and daily targets. This will involve a self-motivated and quick thinking individual who can think on their feet and be proactive in getting the production team back up and running in as soon as. You will be part of a team on shifts passing working towards and end goal of keeping production going and meeting the A/C design intent and quality.

Responsibilities :-

Working as part of a small dedicated team on shifts alongside production working through issues that arise throughout the shift. This may come in as an ANDON, or an EQN ( Engineering support request ) to resolve matters as quick as possible with minimal disruption as this is measured and so is quality and the support time. Forward thinking at improving and anticipating issues and resolving these before they may happen. Project work also involved to resolve long standing issues or potential future improvements. PPM of production tooling to keep these to the required build standard ( pins in place bushes in jigs replacements sourced ) so no quality escapes and concessions caused. Large emphasis on quality improvement so always looking to improve

Essential Skills :-

* SAP ( PEA, APD, PEM ), PDMLink, Concession planning, SOI rewrites, TARs for tooling refurbishment, Airbus Production build experience, processes and procedures, drilling and bolting preferably within an aircraft environment, problem solving techniques, project work (end to end delivery on time)

This will be a double day shift and potentially nights.
