Our Client based in Warton and Samlesbury has a requirement for Manufacturing Engineers to join their team.
*Responsible for ensuring that the original design intent is met in the finished product.
*Translating design information in the form of CAD models, drawings, material and manufacturing process specifications into repeatable processes as part of the Manufacturing Engineering Process, documenting the optimum manufacturing methods in written and/or pictorial instructions with due regard to cost and quality for new build and retro modification.
*Providing a documented, safe, capable repeatable method which will dictate the sequence of manufacturing or maintenance and tooling/equipment required for both assemblies and details.
*Responsible for the execution of Standard Time Values (e.g. MOST timing), creation of MBOMs reconcilable to the Design BOMs, inspection stages and quality records.
Skills & Experience
Applicants will possess an HNC or equivalent with experience in a Mechanical Process Planning role.
Experience of manufacturing processes (assembly and/or details) and associated technologies is essential
Experience of Assembly and/or Detail Process Planning is essential.
Toolsets - Use of SAPCAMS toolset is essential
Good interpersonal and communication skills as they will need to liaise with customers.
