Purpose of Role:

To provide front line functional / delivery team subject matter representation and expertise for Wholeship & Outfit team.

Represent W&O Function and Delivery Lead in MAIT.

Interact at the detail level on the floor plate.

Proactively coordinate inputs for W&O team, ensuring delivery is timely in supporting MAIT schedule.

Proactively contribute in delivering MAIT objectives, whether personally owned or otherwise.

To provide and support resolution to known and arising design issues.

To expedite engineering queries (EQs) and issue resolution related to function / discipline responsibility.

To facilitate effective cross organisational working ensuring the programme is delivered on budget and to schedule.

Able to operate, influence and provide a level of expertise to the MAIT daily management.

Liaise with the Wholeship Integration and Engineering Manager and ensure the Platform delivery resources are optimised to deliver against agreed priorities.

Use AutoCAD and FORAN to identify and resolve issues.

Tasks and Activities:

Proactively facilitate the closure of W&O EQs and ensure information requested from other functions/teams is received in a timely fashion. Feedback EQ issues back into the W&O team via EQ coordinator.

Ensure Design Reviews are diarised and follow the agreed processes.

Ensure quality of function / discipline outputs by reviewing Windchill Compartment BoMs, Compartment Attributes, Check Sheets and the Foran Model.

Support the Compartment and System Leads by:

ensuring all stakeholder comments impacting Stage 1 are effectively communicated understood and closed out;

providing continual visibility of MAIT priorities (wkly summary report);

raising changes, updating drawings, resolving engineering issues as required;

generating technical solutions to existing and emerging issues;

facilitating cross functional working to support MAIT schedule.

Assist Engineering Management prioritisation of resources in the maturity of parts, implement of changes and update of key plans and other engineering artefacts.

Support spatial model surveys as part of MAIT stakeholder community.

Co-ordinate and report at daily and weekly reviews.

Engagement with other MAIT POC to agree common lessons are applied across DZs.

Provide input on areas where the W&O can improve performance.

Outputs/Deliverables:

Lives with MAIT and interacts at the detail level on the floorplate and on a daily basis.

Support spatial model surveys as part of MAIT stakeholder community

Conduct desktop reviews for respective function / discipline and provide assessment via agreed process

Ensure quality of function / discipline inputs

Where applicable, report maturity exceptions and risk as an input to MAIT forum
